Notification about the processing of data of personal character and participation in a Program
1. Introduction
Pursuant to the provisions of the General Regulation of Personal Data Protection 2016/679 of the European Union and the Greek legislation, we inform you about the processing of your personal data and please read the following carefully:
2. Collection and processing of personal data
In order to submit your application for the participation in the Program, the disclosure of your personal data is required (indicative: name, school, telephone, email, etc.). The data which is marked is necessary in order to submit your Declaration / Application. The data that is not marked is optional.
3. Purpose of processing
The School collects and processes your personal data in order for you to participate in this Program.
4. Legal grounds for the processing
The legal grounds for the collection and processing of your data is signing a contract. The marked data that you will provide us with are necessary for your participation in the Program. Your failure to provide the information on your behalf will result in your inability to participate in the Program.
5. Personal data recipients - Impartations
Your personal data is transmitted and processed by the Company’s staff, which is bound by confidentiality clauses. The data we collect for this purpose will not be transmitted to third parties. The School may be liable for the disclosure of certain candidate data to third parties, such as government authorities, in accordance with applicable laws.
6. Processing security
The Company takes appropriate security measures to ensure the best possible protection of all personal data and to avoid accidental loss, use or unauthorized access to personal data and restricts access to candidates' personal data to individuals who really need it for performing their duties. The Company has established procedures for dealing with any breaches of data security, in order to be able to comply with its legal obligations in case of a personal data breach.
7. Data retention time
After the completion of the Program, your data is kept in the School file for a period of one (1) year and then deleted from all databases. It is clarified that the deletion takes place at the end of the calendar year within which the period of one (1) year is completed.
8. Your rights regarding your personal data
You have the right to submit a request to the School for information, access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing, objection as well as the right to the portability of your data (if this is possible, according to law).
To use your rights you can submit a special Application Form for Using Rights in the following ways:
i. By sending an e-mail to: dpo@mandoulides.edu.gr.
ii. By post to the offices of the Schools at the address: E. Mandoulides Schools SA, 12th km of National Road Thessaloniki - N. Moudania, PC 570 01, Thermi, Thessaloniki, c / o D.P.O.
iii. In person at the offices of the Schools at the above address.
Also, in case one of your above requests is not satisfied, you can make a complaint to the supervisory authority, ie the Personal Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
